format of data changes
hi,
am trying to copy data from a DB2 table into excel but in some cases the value changes from txt to a date. Example: normally this is the value you want to see in excel= -1.10 as it is stored in the DB2 table but in my case i get this value= 01.okt. If i check the format of the cell it is a Custom format (dd.mmmm) while the other fields are of category general. Changing this format will not give me the proper info.... Tried to use a workaround with txt to columns but it does not work either....
Any ideas!?

To my knowledge that's no a lot what you can do with autoformat in Excel. If suitable you may try to format cell as text before you copy the data.
