forgot password to open Excel file
I have a very important file that I have forgotten the password to. I desparately need to get into the file. HELP!!!

Hi, i have a excel file that i created late last year and saved it with a password. Recently i have tried to open it with the password i thought i had used, with no success. Is there a way i can remove the protection to be able to open the file? Thank you
I too have forgotten the password to open an Excel file (.xlsx), i created Dec. 2024. Is there any way to be able to open it?

https://youtu.be/24rISp-naqI- Thanks Cody_190 - unfortunately my problem was the last issue, which the first three solutions wouldn't work. The advice to buy a password "breaker" software seems my last resort unless someone else has a different solution.
