For Insider, When Will Python in Excel & New GROUPBY & PIVOTBY Functions Appear?
My latest build version (downloaded and installed this week) is:
Microsoft® Excel® for Microsoft 365 MSO (Version 2311 Build 16.0.17029.20028) 64-bit
Why have I not yet gained access to either Python in Excel or the new GROUPBY & PIVOTBY Functions?

Steve1330 , you are welcome.
As a comment, Beta is stable enough, serious issues here are very seldom. The main problem is compatibility if you share files with someone else or work in different environments.

- It's been two months now, why's it taking so long for MS to roll out the new GROUPBY & PIVOTBY Functions to those of us Insiders with Current Channel (Preview)?
- Another two weeks go by, and still Microsoft is dragging its feet rolling out the new GROUPBY & PIVOTBY functions to those of us Insiders with Current Channel (Preview). WTF is taking you so long? On top of that, two of your last three Office 365 updates were broken for a day or two before finally downloading after Users having to take steps never before required. 😡
In many cases two weeks is quite fast even for the covering of 100% on Beta channel. The way from Beta to Current (Preview) could take months.

I am also a beta channel user. and i saw the version i am in is
I understand the version is 2312 17126.20000. However i dont have groupby and pivotby function.
Can you give me some help on this?

- Yes, the Insider channel is not 100% yet. The next update will likely go out Tuesday, Dec 5.

Latest build on Beta is 2312.17116.20002. Python shall be covered on 100%, new functions only partially.
- Are you saying, based on my version number above, I should have at least Python in Excel by now? It does not appear in my formulas tab yet. Thanks.
If you are on Beta and update it on 2312.17116 - to my knowledge you shall have it.
