Footer image cropping
Hi
I'm experiencing issues when adding png images into footers. When I add the images into the footer, the bottom and right of each image is cropped when printed, no matter the size of the image. The print preview of the images looks correct.
There is an additional oddity to this as follows - if I add a copy of one of the images into a cell in the main boy of the doc, then print the doc, all of the images print correctly.
Any advice would be great.

Try this:
- Adjust Footer Margins
- Go to Layout → Margins → Custom Margins → Layout tab → Footer.
- Increase the footer distance from the bottom (e.g., set it to 1 cm instead of 0.5 cm).
- This moves the image upward into the printable area.
- Resize or Reposition the Image
- Manually drag the image slightly upward or inward from the right edge.
- Even a few millimeters can prevent cropping.
- Check Printer Settings
- In the Print dialog → Printer Properties, look for options like borderless printing or fit to page.
- Some printers allow edge‑to‑edge printing, but many do not.
- Use a Different Placement
- Instead of inserting the image directly in the footer, place it in the body and anchor it to the bottom of the page (using “Position → Absolute” settings).
- This gives you more control over margins while visually mimicking a footer.
- Test with Another Printer/Driver
- If you have access to another printer, try printing the same document.
- If the cropping disappears, it confirms the issue is hardware/driver‑specific.
