finding data across sheets by searching a specific column by name and displaying in a found set
Hi Group
if I had a spreadsheet with lots of data on several sheets, I wanted to search from a column in each sheet for results from a range of numbers entered in a search cell.
and then display the found results with their complete row in a found sheet so the data can be viewed and compared
is this possible?
so the number will be a decimal, and I would enter something like Search: 18.0 to 19.35
and any cells from a particular column with a number between 18.0 and 19.35 would be pulled into a found set that shows the complete row that is found from the cell.
note the columns may be in different positions so it might be column C in one sheet and column D in another sheet, but I wondered if the columns in each sheet could be named so they have a familiarity with each other.

Could you please share your worksheet for reference data and expected outcome? so that specific solution can be provided.- adrianwaCopper Contributor
hi SandeepMarwal and Patrick2788
I have not constructed the spreadsheet yet as I am thinking about how to set it up. but I had a private message that was very helpful and gave me this link which was very informative on this matter:
