Find and Replace Highlight colour
- I understand your struggle now. I guess you will have to rely on the columns and row headers to help you detect the column and row of the active cell.
Option 2 is to use less vibrant colours in your cells.

When i try to search in excel the search result row and column comes in highlighted green color which i really don't want. can anybody help to change back to normal ?
The same thing happened to me. It took me some searching, but I discovered what happened, and how to turn it off. Click the "View" menu. In the "Show" section of the toolbar, there is an option called "Focus Cell." You can turn this option off here, or if you like it, you can change the color of the highlighting. I am not sure how it got activated in the first place, but at least I know how to turn it off now.
