Find and Replace Highlight colour
When I'm using the Find and Replace function and hit find, Excel finds the cell but its very hard to see because of the highlighted colour. Is there a way to change the default colour? Thanks in adv...
- Jun 04, 2021I understand your struggle now. I guess you will have to rely on the columns and row headers to help you detect the column and row of the active cell.
Option 2 is to use less vibrant colours in your cells.
Also, other people posted your request as an improvement idea for Excel. You can add your vote:

That is not even remotely a solution to the problem that so many are posting about here. It is the cell that needs to be highlighted as a whole in a colour that the user can choose. See the post above your own to get the idea. Including as to the extent that Microsoft is inconsistent.

Thanks for clarifying and restating, jtelmfarm. Why isn't the tech community or anyone from Microsoft paying attention?! They obviously know it's an issue, b/c they fixed it in files in Teams, per Traddles above. So why not on the desktop??

It takes years to create another version of Microsoft OS, much less Office.
Since the ONLINE integration to Microsoft 365 and FREE use templates.
They have stopped updating minor changes in Excel. It used to work fine in 8.1
and Office 2000s. Something changed and removed that line of code.
It has become easier to just use the Spreadsheet's Row/Column scan. and the placement on the sheet in the Workbook. I have tried searching other solutions.
