Find and Replace Highlight colour
- Jun 04, 2021I understand your struggle now. I guess you will have to rely on the columns and row headers to help you detect the column and row of the active cell.
Option 2 is to use less vibrant colours in your cells.
Also, other people posted your request as an improvement idea for Excel. You can add your vote:

Good Afternoon Celia_Alves,
I still await a solution to this issue, and based on the 7,400+ views it seems like many are also waiting.
I'm not sure what the view count has to be to get on the list of this to change for next release/update, but I'm sure this has to be getting close.

Until the highlight color issue is resolved by Microsoft, for MS 365, try looking in the suspected column or row that you are searching. Look through the suspected cells until you find the cell that shows a small shaded square symbol in the lower right corner. This is the highlighted cell you are looking for. This procedure is only true while using the "find and replace" feature in Excel 365.
I agree that more should be done by Microsoft to show the highlighted cell more vividly, but until then, I believe this procedure will get you by.
