Find and Replace Highlight colour

When I'm using the Find and Replace function and hit find, Excel finds the cell but its very hard to see because of the highlighted colour. Is there a way to change the default colour? Thanks in adv...

I understand your struggle now. I guess you will have to rely on the columns and row headers to help you detect the column and row of the active cell.
Option 2 is to use less vibrant colours in your cells.

I have this same issue time and again. The green outline of a cell in Find is nearly impossible to see. If there has to be a default color that we can't change, why not make it red or yellow? Or better yet, make this a setting that the user can change. I am with mark_murphy_manluk on this one. And based on the responses in this discussion, I'm sorry to see there appears to be no solution.

mark_murphy_manluk Same on other popular PDF programs, why do the software producers not put themselves in the users shoes? I have an extensive list to 'Find' certain supplier contacts and I cant see the dark green box.
Who on earth thought that colour scheme was a good idea??
Highlight the cell yellow would be a much improved option for me.

Absolutely right. Microsoft simply do not listen. Even when, as this is, the change is small, must be easy for them to make and concerns accessibility.
And no, it is not that people are colour blind. It is that the colour, the only colour, they use is well nigh invisible against the grid.
The obvious thing to do would be to highlight the found cells. Not put an inviable border around.

I still have not found a solution to this issue. I'm no programmer, there is somewhere in the code to make the highlight color dark green, it would be so great if there was an adjustable user based setting.

4,500+ views and still no solution? what are we doing here?

Its not the most pressing matter by any means, but please some one give it some attention.
