Filtering one large data sheet (25k + rows) with another long list (1500+ rows)

Hello excel tech community! I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to filter a large list (with 25k plus rows) with another long list (1500 plus rows). I have a list of names that I need to cross reference with a database of names to find overlapping data. The overlaps are a good thing in this scenario, so I was wondering what would be the easiest way to accomplish/automate this?
