Filtering an entire pivot table

Hi,

I am trying to filter an entire pivot table as I used to, by clicking the upper left corner of the spreadsheet and then filter, so that all columns will show the drop down arrow,  Now I cannot do that, but I need to see information from different columns at the same time.  How do I do it?  Your help will be highly appreciated
