Filling a group of cells black with conditional formatting

Hey guys,

Ive got the conditional formatting to work on a regular sheet but not in a table.

When "Tape?" Column has a cell that is blank, I want “waist 1”, “waist 2”, and “waist 3” to be filled in black

it should be:

=isblank([@[Tape?]]) or something similar but it won’t work.

j14labianca Indeed, structured table references don't work in conditional formatting. You'll need to use the cell reference, presumable AB2. Then the formula becomes:

    =ISBLANK($AB2)

Apply it to the columns relevant columns of the table. Note that this will be 'entered' as direct absolute cell references. Yet, it will automatically resize with the table.
