fill series is disabled in my excel home tab

I am a person with visual impairment and I cannot use fill handle for dragging data.

so I tried to use fill series in the home tab in excel for mac.

even though I tried multiple ways of entering and selecting data, the fill series including other fill options are always disabled.

any possible solution to use those options in fill tab.

    I do not have a Mac, so I'm just guessing. But could it be that worksheet protection is activated? Fill series does not work on protected sheets, even if the specific cells are not locked.
