Fill function for numbers in parentheses
How do you use the fill function for numbers in parentheses to continue the pattern. For example A1 would be '(1) A2 would be '(2) .... (1) (2) (3) (4) .... Any help would be apprecia...
If it's just numbers in parentheses you want, consider entering the first item (assume this in cell A1) as a negative number. Format the entire column as number format "(1234)". Then you can enter a formula in the cell below like:
=A1-1..... and drag it down the column.
