Fill consecutive numbers
Add 1 then 2 to a column then double click the corner of the 2 cell but only 2's appear...
Gaza1 Strange. It works for all the time.

Gaza1 Select both the 1 and the 2. Then press the small square in the bottom right-hand corner of the cell with the 2. Then it should work.

Riny_van_Eekelen Hi Riny Really do appreciate your kind suggestion but if I highlight both the 1 and 2 then press the small square, it just fills in 1's... Some of my excel sheets do this function first time and others like this one don't so there must be something I need to do to change the automatic filling.
- Joseph9592Copper ContributorIt is strange. Mine fill in as 1"s. Even when I confirm they are numbers, and not "General" or "Text." Also creating a custom format for leading zeroes that is labeled as "Special." I resorted to using basic excel and not the web app provided in the company's SharePoint site. Is there another way to generate consecutive numbers aside from the right-hand corner drag technique?
