File/Share/Email/Send as Attachment Not Working

My ability to share my Excel document via email as an attachment no longer works. When I try, I receive a Microsoft Excel error notice with a yellow yield sign with an exclamation point stating "General mail failure. Quit Microsoft Excel, restart the mail system, and try again. I do this and nothing changes. Still can't share via email as attachment.
