However, if you find that these ready-made templates do not perfectly fit your specific processes, you also have the option to commission a fully tailor-made spreadsheet from independent developers or freelancers (for example, on platforms like Fiverr, Upwork, or through specialized Excel consultancy services).

To ensure a smooth and accurate development process, any developer you choose will typically need the following details from you:

    1. The exact data fields you need to track (e.g., specific categories, account numbers, due dates).
    2. The number of sheets required (e.g., 12 separate monthly sheets, a master dashboard, or combined summaries).
    3. Specific formulas or automations you require (e.g., running balances, conditional formatting for overdue bills, automated email alerts, or pivot charts).
    4. Your preferred layout and design (e.g., calendar view, list view, or graphical dashboard).
    5. The number of months or years the template needs to cover and whether it should roll over automatically.

Please keep in mind that custom development is a paid service. The final cost depends entirely on the complexity and the number of features you require. Once you provide the details above to a developer, they will be able to review your requirements and give you a transparent, fixed-price quote before any work begins.

I highly recommend trying the free templates first—they might just be exactly what you need! If not, you now have a clear path forward to order a custom solution.

  • Hi, yes, this is a good use case for a simple monthly payment tracker. I would make one table with columns like month, due date, payment name, amount due, amount paid, balance, and status. Then each monthly sheet can use the same table format, while a summary sheet totals the year with SUMIFS. The key is to use consistent table names and formulas so every sheet matches instead of building each month differently.
