excel
I have a document that I use daily and just change the date on it. In the desktop app it would save each day as a new file so I can refer back to it later. In the web app it just renames the document...

After opening the latest file, but before doing anything else, click File, Save As

JKPieterse I do that, but it just renames the file with 'copy' in the name, does not create a new version. then the next day would be copy copy. In the desktop version of excel I can create an entirely new version of the file with a different name.

Joanne25 Very odd. If I click File, Save As it asks me what I want to do. I choose Save as and then I get to choose where. After selecting a folder I can just type in a new name and then a new file gets created
