How to delete a table embedded in a cell
HansVogelaar I really have no idea, but somehow I ended up with one. If you're interest, I'll send you a screenshot. Just let me know.

Click in the table.
Activate the Table Design tab of the ribbon.
In the Tools group, click Convert to Range.
Excel will keep the formatting, but the cell won't act as a table anymore.
You can format the cell to conform to the surrounding cells.
