actually I bet all you need to do is change the FORMAT of the cell from h:mm to [h]:mm to tell excel to show hours > 24 as hours. Go into Format Cells, select number, select custom, Type [h]:mm or under the Format Cells sub-window you can select the Time category and select the time that says: 37:30:55 but as you can see that option will show the seconds

That worked. I got rid of the :ss part.
