I am constructing a data sheet which will have several columns of data in the top portion but then have a section at the bottom which will allow a "comments" section across the bottom using wrap around text. Can Excel do this ?
You can select cells in a row across the bottom.
Click the arrow in the lower right corner of the Alignment group of the Home tab of the ribbon.
Tick the check box 'Wrap Text'.
Set the Horizontal alignment to Center across Selection.
Alternatively, tick the check box Merge Cells.
