Yesterday, I could enter data in column D, press the right arrow and be in column E ready to enter data. Today, I can't do that. I have searched and cannot find which thing I selected that made this change. Please help.

Check your keyboard for Scroll Lock. Press it and try again if your screen moves instead of the cell or
Scroll over the entire row D. That should work. Cut the row and paste it in row E.
I also use this method for managing my gbwhatsapp contacts listsif this method will work for gb whatsapp contacts in excel as you said in you post then I will diffinetly try this and thanks for sharing this info.
Select whole row D and then scroll it over then. It would work. Or select the row and cut from D and paste in row E. I would work like a game.
