Excel Workbook not selecting correct cell

When I try to click a certain cell in my excel workbook, it clicks a completely different cell (either a cell a few rows above or below the one I am trying to click) and I can only use the arrow keys on my device to select the cell that I need to be selected. Can anyone help me fix this? It's such a nuisance and slows me down at work. Ty in advance.
