Excel window minimizing whenever moved

I am using Windows version 2207.  I recently noticed that whenever I move the window, it minimizes to this:  

Previously, if I moved the window and it was at full-screen, it would reduce to less than full screen and I could place windows next to each other.  However, now when moving (regardless of moving on same monitor or to a different monitor), it minimizes completely.  Has anyone else noticed this?  Is there a way to change this behavior?
