I'm on the build "16.0.9126.2152" but I didn't notice this behavior!
It's still as it is!
The behavior that you noticed is already found in the Word but not in Excel.
There might be something wrong with the format of the text, or it has some hidden characters.
Maybe the version of Excel needs to https://support.office.com/en-US/Article/Repair-an-Office-application-7821d4b6-7c1d-4205-aa0e-a6b40c5bb88b#ID0EAADAAA=Windows_10.
I see such behavior on 1804.9226.2059, have no idea how it was before.
