Excel to .txt file - number formatting issues
Hoping someone can help here - I'm at my wits end. I have data from an excel file that I have saved as a .txt file that I'm importing into MYOB. This data includes references to account codes - 5-0...

it seems this is not an Excel issue.
There is not problem with Excel exporting the data.
From the error log, I understood some values are supposed to be numbers and your program is not accepting them because they are text.
I would ask you to export data from the program then show it in excel (upload it here pls), maybe it gives us a clue what is going on.

I've uploaded a list as exported out of MYOB into Text Document and the contents copied and pasted into the excel spreadsheet. Hope you can see something I can't!!
