EXCEL text too long I want it to carry into next column

EXCEL text too long I want it to carry into next column. WAS ALWAYS WORKING BUT i MUST HAVE HIT A COMBINATION OF KEYS AND IT STOPPED WORKING.

Make sure that:

  1. The cells to the right are completely empty.
  2. The horizontal alignment of the cell is set to General or to Left.
  3. Wrap Text is off for the cell.
