Excel sum formula
If I cut & paste data from a excel document into another excel document with formula why won’t the sum formula calculate my copied data it only calculates if I over type the data?

- Could be several reasons. If that "data" isn't really raw data but rather the result itself of a formula, pulling ingredients from elsewhere in the source document, that could be one reason why the SUM doesn't appear to work until you overtype the fields where data was.
Can you post a copy of the worksheets, or images of the "before" and "after"?
