EXCEL SPREADSHEET

I have a protected spreadsheet with password. I wish to change the password

I go to unprotect sheet and try to put in the current password which works to open sheet, but it does not accept it.

 Am in doing something wrong?

    It can have different causes Look in advance

    ... whether the shift key is activated on capital letters,

    whether the language selection has changed,

    whether the Num key is activated ... if you add numbers from it to your password,

     

    In the heat of battle to edit a file, it can happen that the wrong password is entered unconsciously.
