Excel Spread Sheet Help
Can someone help me with my spreadsheet? I need to have column B to add to column D, and Column C to subtract from column D! This is an accounting ledger I'm trying to make for a daily transaction.

In addition to HansVogelaar it's better if you indicate on which Excel platform/version you are.
- Kipwhitebuffalo304Copper ContributorSergei how and where do I find this information on my computer?
The easiest way, if you are on Windows, is File->Account, it looks like
On Mac it shall be similar. If you are on Web, Android or iOS just mention that.
Can you post a screenshot of what you want, or even better, could you attach a small sample workbook demonstrating the problem (without sensitive data), or if that is not possible, make it available through OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or similar?

Thanks, Kip, for your candor here. I'd suggest you concentrate on the business and get something like Quickbooks for Small Business to take care of the accounting. It will have been debugged--which will not be the case for a spreadsheet created by a novice--and therefore far more reliable, FAR MORE reliable, than anything you'd come up with on your own.
That said, attached is a VERY basic spreadsheet that can be used to track income and expenses and will update the balance.
If you want to persist in creating your own spreadsheet--or maintaining the one attached--you should also consider a basic book on Excel. But I was serious in suggesting Quickbooks. I neither work for them nor am a customer--I'm long retired--so that's just a suggestion intended to say you should really focus on your business first.
