EXCEL SOLVER ADD IN PROBLEM
Hi guys! I would really love to have some fix for my problem. So, I've been trying to put the solver add in for my excel but there's always a prompt whenever I close my excel (photo attached below) ...
I tried that but the problem still continues to exist
Try this:
Open Excel > File > Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings. On these tabs:
> Trusted Locations > Uncheck "Disable all trusted locations"
> Active X Settings > Select "Prompt me before enabling all controls with minimal restrictions"
> Addins > No boxes checked
> Macro settings > Disable All macros with notification

Well those are the settings that are already in my excel before hand 😕
tanjulian90 I'm having the same issue. What version of Office are you using and is it 64 bit or 32 bit?
@tanjulian90 I fixed my issue. It turned out that my user account was corrupt. I think it was because I tried to rename it, then went back to the original name. Creating a new user fixed the issue. If you try this just be sure to back up everything you have under the original ID. And you'll probably have to reinstall most apps since they are usually installed under a specific ID. That includes any VPN connections you may have created.
