Excel Showing HTML in Emails
Hello all. I have several excel workbooks that are pulling data from a SQL database. One of the fields I am pulling is a notes field. In the source system, if a user is using a custom font, the data that gets pulled is wrapped in HTML tags. I have a macro set up that removes these tags. However, when the excel file gets sent (via outlook) as an attachment, the HTML tags reappear for the recipient. The HTML tags DO NOT appear in my sent email, nor in the source file, nor in O365. The excel file is housed in SharePoint and is sent as an attachment using Power Automate.
Any ideas on why this is happening? Is there maybe an excel setting that the recipient has turned on?
