Excel Sharing Restrict User Access at Row Level
Hi,
Is it possible to restrict individual users at row level? My use case is I've an Excel on OneDrive shared to other users in my organization. Each user can create 1 or many records in the file. Is it possible to restrict users just to delete or edit rows created by themselves and not by others? Thank you!
- JKPieterseSilver ContributorYou could give each user their own file to edit, then use power query to build a table with all entries in a separate compiler workbook for people to look at. That compiler file would be "read only" because refreshing the query would overwrite any changes people might make to the table in that file.
