Excel refresh blocks Access data entry

Dear Community,

Framework: I have an Access DataBase that is divided in the front (FE) and back end (BE). I also have an Excel file that is linked to the backEnd and is used by the users in order to have a prompt way to consult, update and work on their information.

Problem1: If the BE is being updated by one user, or if the FE is requesting some information of the BE, the other user cannot get its Excel updated.

Problem2: Somehow and just sometimes, after the Excel is used the BE becomes "Read-only" and the FE becomes inoperative (after a period it changes to the normal working state).

Question: Since Access has the ability to have multiple working connections, is there any way to prevent this incompatibility?
