Excel: Precision as displayed

Is there any way to make "precision as displayed" my default for all worksheets in Excel?

If not, is there a way to put "precision as displayed" on my shortcuts so I don't have to go to File/Options/Advanced for every worksheet?

Thanks.

I would never recommend doing this unless you are really sure you want it for all your files. Precision as displayed permanently removes the digits which are not shown in the cells and affects the results of your calculations. This may be desired, I cannot judge that.
That being said, if you set this option to an empy file and save-as the file named book.xltx, file type Excel template in your XLSTART folder, every time you press control+n, you get a new empty workbook with the feature set. Note however that File, New does NOT use the new template, only control+n and the empty workbook you get when Excel starts.
