Excel Power Query / data query on Microsoft Surface Laptop 7

Not sure why I am here, micorsoft said I needed to come here for technical support from microsoft???

I cannot get power query in excel to work (or create any query to external data) in excel.  The mashup works fine in power BI, but doesn't work in excel.

How do I get this addressed?
