EXCEL Page viewing
When I am working in EXCEL, I want to see - all the time - where my pages begin/end (with the dashed lines). I have tried to do this, but have been unsuccessful. This is what I am doing:
I have a document page open, and I go to File >Options >Advanced >Display options for this Workbook. I check the box for Show Page Breaks OK And that is fine. The worksheet now displays the dashed lines for pages.
BUT I close the document, and when I reopen, everything is the same as it was in the beginning. The page lines have disappeared!!! So I go back through the same sequence, and THE BOX IS NOW NOT CHECKED. So I have to do it again.
What must I do to permanently view the page outlines???
Thank you

- I think the fastest work-around is to simply press the keyboard short-cut control+p and then hit the Escape key. Alternatively, try the view icons to the left of the zoom slider in the bottom-right corner of the Excel window. Perhaps you like one of those views.

Thank you so much for your quick reply Jan. I have tried your 'fastest work-around', and yes; it is quick and easy.
Thanks again. Great to learn new bits!
