Excel opens file with #NAME? conversion? How do I stop this?
So I am pulling sales data in a CSV file, but every time I open the file in excel certain Receipt ID values are converting to "#NAME?" without anything being applied. There doesn't even seem to be a way to check the original Receipt ID and convert to a friendlier excel format.
How could I open this file to at least show the text/symbol string?
Do NOT open a csv/txt file in Excel.
It is always better to import the file.
With PQ you can set the data types before loading to the worksheet.
