Excel Online - The regional settings for this edit session have been set to Russian (Russia).
Greetings,
I use Excel Online on OneDrive, and when I start to edit a document in Web browser (Chrome), I get this message:
"The regional settings for this edit session have been set to Russian (Russia)."
This is quite insulting, because it's quite the opposite, I'm located in the capital of Ukraine, and as you probably know, russia wages a hybrid war against our country which includes military aggression.
So, my question is — why the regional settings are set to russian instead of Ukrainian??

Hi Alexander,
Excel Online takes settings from OneDrive site settings. If we speak about OneDrive for Business, open it in browser, click gear icon on top right, select Site settings, under Site Administration block click Regional settings and here Region->locale. Select one which you prefer.
If OneDrive personal, locale could be changed somewhere in your Microsoft Account settings.
- Alexander KalininCopper ContributorThanks, but my regional settings in Microsoft account are set to Ukrainian, of course. Moreover, the russian regional settings applied even if I was NOT logged in any account at all (yes, you can work there without logging in). So this was very strange...
However, right now the problem went away by itself. All I did was clearing cookies for https://onedrive.live.com/.
So I guess the problem may be considered to be solved, but it's still not clear why did it happen in the first place..

I second to this. It's really weird, provided that my Microsoft profile settings contain nothing related to Russia or Russian language.
