Excel on Mac Ventura 13.3 1000 separator stopped working
My Excel stopped working using the 1000 separator. I think it has something to do with the region. I have done changes, yet noting works.
Can anyone offer a solution?
As it is now I am not able to do any calcualations

As far as I could research on the internet, one solution proposal that might work for you is to adjust the regional settings in your Mac OS X International system preferences. Excel uses the Mac OS system separator for thousands, so you can specify a different system separator by changing these settings.
Another solution proposal is to select the cells that you want to adjust, then on the Home tab, under Number, click Display the value of a cell with a thousands separator.

I checked my home computer and the correct selection for the 1000 decimal separator was incorrectly selected on my work computer. It should be as follows: 1,234,567.89
I was using 1 234,567.89 which was not allowing the numbers to calculate.
