excel number formats
I have a list of serial numbers imported in an excel spreadsheet that have spaces in the numbers ie 123 4567 678 How can I format the column so the space is removed between the digits.

Select the cells from which you want to remove the spaces.
Press Ctrl+H to activate the Replace dialog.
Click in the 'find what' box and type a single space.
Leave the 'Replace with' box empty.
Click the 'Replace All' button.
Excel will tell you how many spaces were replaced.
Click OK, then close the Replace dialog.
