Excel number format
Until recently, I am sure that if I entered a number with 0 decimal places I simply entered the number and it was correct. Now I am forced to add a decimal point. Has something change or have I got it wrong and it was always the case?
For example, if I enter 18 with decimal places seet at 0, and do not add a decimal point the result is 0.

- TwifooSilver ContributorEnsure that your number format is set to General.
- 3manpedCopper ContributorThank you. Yes, it is set to General, but the issue remains. To input a whole number with the decimal places set at '0' I have to add a decimal point after the number: if I don't, it goes to 2 decimal places. E.g. if I enter '18' without adding a decimal point and with the number of decimal places set to '0' the result is 0.18!
