Excel not saving Graph formatting for trendlines

I keep on having to change trendline formatting on graphs since the formatting does not save for particular trendlines. So every time I reopen the excel file the formatting didn't save. How can I track what is the problem and fix it without having to copy to a new workbook or recreating the graphs?

    Hi Simone,

     

    Not sure that's your case, however try to uncheck "Properties follow chart..." in Excel Options -> Advanced -> Chart

      Thanks for the reply. I deleted the graphs and just recreated them, which worked. When I went back to previous files that had the problem it was fixed for some reason.
