Excel not responding after update to vers. 16.65

Excel got updated automatically to version 16.65 on Mac OS Catalina. Word and PowerPoint worked just fine, but when I open Excel it freezes on the homepage and only force quitting works. I tried uninstalling and re-installing both from Microsoft 365 and App Store. I created a new user and realized it does let me use it in this other user, but not on my main admin one. I don’t want to migrate all my info. to this new user. Has this happened to anyone else? Thanks.
