Excel map chart not mapping correctly
I am trying to create a map chart but for some reason Excel/Bing cannot map Papua New Guinea correctly and instead displays West Papua. I have ensured that my data entry type is Geography and this lists the correct information for PNG, but the map created is wrong.

Thanks SergeiBaklan . I'm wondering if it's my version of Excel because when I downloaded your document it came up with an error message where the chart should be.
I tried creating my own chart from your data but once again Papa New Guinea turns into West Papa!

Interesting, never seen incompatibility message for Map Charts. I did it on this version of Excel
As for the result, Map Charts is quite sensitive to the form in which source data is presented. Sometimes it doesn't work with Geography data types, but works with plain text data. Column names affects the result. Another column added with country/region could help or wording in geography name. That's only to play with different variants of source data presentation. And I know the cases when nothing helped, at least I was not able to show data.
In any case I'd recommend to Send a Frown from within your Excel including screenshot. Microsoft monitors them, perhaps they could help. That's from Help->Feedback menu.
