Excel locks/freezes after using find and replace

Hi, i currenlty have a major issue concerning excel and i can't find any valuable documentation about that issue. The idea is simple, whenever i use the find and replace option on my excel table, where there are between 1000 and 10000 cells, it changes exaclty what i want in a fraction of a second but after that excel freezes completly even freezing the entire computer for multiple minutes. My computer is powerfull that's not the problem (i did the same on really simple computer where i only takes few secondes to do my task).
