excel linking workbooks on one drive

I am using a collection of workbooks One Drive, and have created a "summary" workbook that needs to link (pull) information from the other workbooks. But am receiving "links disabled" message

    I am having the same issue. I tried changing settings in the trust center.

    The links update when I open the file in regular Excel but I receive a "Links Disabled" "Links to external workbooks are not supported and have been disabled" error when I open the file in Google Chrome.

    Does it make a difference which browser the file is opened in?

    I have a home Office 365 license; does this come with a feature that will enable the links while open in browser?

    When I go to "File -> info" online, one of the options is "upgrade to office 365." I already have office 365 but I haven't been able to see how to tell my browser that.
