Excel: Keep cell formatting in a drop down list data validation??
Is it possible to keep cell formatting (bold & colored font) in a drop down box from a data validation list?
No, it isn't. The drop-down list won't show any formatting. If the formatting of the source list is applied by conditional formatting, you can apply the same rule(s) to the cells with the droo-down list.
