excel inventory spreadsheet
I'm new to excel and I'm needing an inventory spreadsheet that will continuously update based off my order entry.
I have 3 separate tabs for the inventory, ''adult t-shirts'' "youth T-shirts" "tumblers" and 1 ''active order'' tab. is it possible to track the inventory by simply inputting an order?
example: if i enter an order " X customer, gliden Cotton, 1 item, white, Large, Adult'' how can i have that order subtract the number of items based off brand, color, size and if adult or youth?
IS that even possible?

Oh, definitely possible.
If you go searching on Google (or Microsoft's own website) for "Excel Templates for Inventory Tracking" I suspect you'll find some possible starting designs.
But you apparently already have a start, with your own workbook that contains at least some information on what's IN your inventory currently. That being the case, you'd help us help you by making available a copy of the workbook you already have. (Otherwise you're in effect asking us to create one from scratch, or just respond as I've done to your "is it possible?" question.) You probably can attach a copy of your existing workbook to the bottom of one of these text boxes into which you write your question or response; you should see something like this
If that doesn't work for you, you can put the workbook on OneDrive or GoogleDrive and post a link here that grants access to it.

You may need to restructure your inventory tables. Since they will be calculated arrays, you cannot intersperse the calculated records with manually entered stock replenishment purchases. You would need an additional Excel Table for manual input.
