Excel Functioning and Saving Issue

Is anyone else having issues with Excel not typing into a cell or saving?  This is something new within the last couple of days.  Cursor blinks, cell is active, but nothing types into the cell.  I have to close or wait 2-3 mins for it to "catch up".  Is this internet related? Saving is also an issue.  I open something saved and my changes are not there. SCARY!  Anyone having any feedback would be appreciated.

    DArnold You can reduce the auto save from existing 10 minutes to 1 minute which will help you to save data more frequently.

     

    The thing which you mentioned may happen when a lot of windows or dialogue boxes are opened simultaneously. Sometimes our active windows is a different windows then what we can see in the current windows. Open Task Manager and switch to the Excel Sheet so that you can work on it.
